Finals

So it's that time again, finals are coming up with the first one being this friday. This year they shouldn't be too difficult though. But that's boring stuff.

Today was a nice day. I woke up to see story alerts from not one, not two, not even three but a full four stories I've been waiting on for a while. The next few hours I spent reading, going as far as to reread one of the bunch. (A Ranma story named The Best of Times). The week has been an on and off thing though, a bunch of stupid stuff at work, along with the stress of exams left me more or less incapacitated over the weekend. I did end up going to a sauna due to this, which resulted in probably the best night's sleep I've had in a while.

My family is going to cuba again this christmas for a week, which leaves me with a blissful week of silence and peace. Now if our current guest would go away for a bit during that time I would be ever so grateful, but unfortunately I don't see that happening. Still, a week of relative peace will do me good.

I've also found out interesting things about getting my hands on stuff from Japan, and the first object on my list will soon be mine. I'm sure I'm not the only one waiting for this occasion?

Other than that it's the same boring life, just like I like it. Like usual too much fan fiction, though I'm sad to say I'm running out of interesting material in the Naruto realm much much faster than I did with Ranma.

Erika still hasn't finished that picture I asked her to draw (Well, she did, but the coloring ruined the mood set in the line art so badly that I vetoed it), so I'm thinking of applying my non-existant photoshop skills to try to color it.

Since I clearly love these non linear topic changes, back to today. After reading the stories I went and watched a few episodes from Full Metal Panic: Fummoffu, great show right there. Then I tried some really scary movie/anime/story, but was unfortunately unsuccessful. It's strange how hard it is to find a good, scary piece of entertainment.

And just now Yana reminded me of my absolutely weird sleeping schedule. The past week or so I've been going off to bed at 6pm to wake up at 4am or so. Sure, it's a bit weird, but I stand by it being one of the most restful schedules possible. Now I just wish I could keep a similar schedule during the school year, so I wouldn't miss quite as many classes as I usually do.
